So i want to setup my new Laptop for everyday use.
I use it mostly for browsing, notes, game Dev (via Godot engine), light gaming.
I like Tinkering and have experience with arch and a bit with hyprland i am open to try anithying out.
The Laptop has a AMD CPU and 16GB of DDR5 Ram.
I would like some distro and de/wm recomadations.
So i want to set my laptup up for my school (i dont need speacial software) it is more about produktivity i want to use somthing like hyprland or niri or mango but i dont know what distro whould be good.
I like tinkering and am open to learn new stuff.
I have already configured niri and hyprland and mango.

So i am looking for a distro to put on my laptop that i want to use for studying (i dont need special apps that are needed from my school) i like a bit tinkering and i dont care how hard it is to setup i like wm’s but kde is also very great.

So i am in search of a distreo that fit my needs have been on my linux journy for about 1-2 months.
I use my Pc mostly for everyday stuff and Gaming like i dont have any hardware that would probaly be a problem but here are my specs:

So i like kde but gnome is also great i use my pc for studying so i like a good workflow i dont really want to use arch right now i now that the aur is optional but with all the stuff going on i dont really want to go there so if somone could give me some recommandations that would be great.
I do some prgramming as a hobby so i am not scared of the terminal.
So i have a big choise problem what i mean by that is really dont know what would be the best for me i have already tryed some distros and have been using cachyos for a wile (i am using cachyos with hyprland and caelestia shell) i am not sure if its the right for me since i need to do school stuff on my Pc and i am a bit scared of instability of hyprland and cachyos.
I am just looking for somthing i can game and do some normal daily stuff on and also maybe some video editing with davinci.

So like i said i have been trying some distros and have been on my linux journy since about half a year i like kde or a window manager but like i said because of stability i would be fine with kde
i am still open to learn so nothing like mint or somthing.
So i am currently using cachyos with a pretty janky self made mangowm setup and i want to setup something that i can use for school and gaming i am fine with doing some tinkering but i dont want to tinker every time i need to do anything.
I would like some preinstalled things or the option to install them also i would like to use a window manager but kde is also totally fine with kwin scripts so i dont want it to break on me when i need it and like i said i am using my pc mostly for school and gaming and some video editing somtimes but rarely

I cant really settle on a Distro i have been in my linux journy for about half a year now and i have been from Bazzite to Cachyos but never really had a distro where it just clicked i was already considering just using arch or something Cachy i had the best experience yet but still i cant say why wasn't it yet i really want to use something like hyprland or niri but kde is also good maybe someone can help me.

I want a New Distro for my gaming PC I have been using PikaOS for some time but i had some issues and i just would like to try somthing new i already have some expierience with Linux and i have already used CachyOS for some time but i don’t know if it is worth going back too after the aur thing I would also like to try Niri i have already have tryed it in a VM.
