I'm looking at finally buying my dream guitar a white les paul custom. I found two used ones I like. One is in very good condition, no paint problems, from 2025 for $4000 or a BRAND new 2001 with some paint cracking. It's a local music shop I've used for a long time and they have one that was stored away by the owner for 25 years. They only opened the box for a video that's it, not on display or anything. The 2001 is $5000.

Which one do you think is better? or does it matter?
