My recent Cal, a serious user of the party saber

The aim was to make this Cals occupation and background vague, and use colors like grey, white, and brown to keep the outfit from clashing with the saber

Also, in this universe, the PS is an ancient weapon and not just a NG+ add on

Dont care if the Mogu glitched out, still beat Fractured Burden on Jedi Grand Master, and its objectively one of the worst, if not the worst, “boss fights” I’ve experienced

(Mini rant below, skip to the last section if you dont care)

This fight abysmal, horribly designed, garbage. The unblockable spam is on full bs levels here with the Vile Bilemaw having mostly unblockable attacks, the Mire Terror having the cheapest grab move in the game, and the Matriarch Goracco sneak attacking. But the biggest offense is how theres no sense of timing, the bosses just attack whenever and ONLY deliver damage to each other from projectiles. This isnt skill issue, this is bad enemy AI not accounting for the number of unblockable moves making strategy turn into a stab and dash playstyle, one of the most boring playstyles in a fight. None of this felt rewarding, it felt like I was fighting a battle that was left unfinished

While the frogs and rancor were tough, I could at least form a plan of attack and find areas of exploitation. With this fight, and how annoyingly persistent the Mogu is with the other bosses ambushing with unblockable moves, good fucking luck. Its a buzzword atp, but this is genuinely artificial difficulty, cuz if you took away those unblockables I would’ve no diffed them. And yeah, maybe the fight would’ve been easier if I used some force exploit, but that doesnt fix the fact that the fight by itself is bad

Beat the two infamous Force Tears on Jedi Grand Master after agonizing rematches

Malice was manageable after I focused on one instead of both, the insta kill grab and attacks are still bs tho

History was just unbalanced and unenjoyable with how spam heavy both are with unblockables and how close they are too each other, and the insta kill tongue move is bs too

And lastly, bosses receiving no damage from another bosses attack is unfair and ridiculous. When alone it makes sense, but when together they should be feeling a small amount of damage, at least from the area attacks if anything

Recently replayed Halo 2 Anniversary on Legendary with no tricks/glitches(apart from noob combo), and I have a few things to say

FUCK Cairo Station. Gravemind gets a bad rep cuz of its first room, but nearly every part of Cairo is bs due to the amount of Elites everywhere. I had to horde plasma pistols just to stand a chance

Jetpack Elites are the worst enemy in the game. Dual plasmas, high shields, flying ability, and they actively pursue you. At least Sniper Jackals wont charge you to get a shot. Drones are also bs and made the Delta Halo Sniper Alley nearly impossible without going in that hole with two openings and another with just one. Thankfully JPEs are rare and Drones are uncommon

Vehicles are so weak for no reason. Thankfully enemy vehicles are just as weak, but seeing a Scorpion get lit up in seconds from a Banshees turrets feels so ridiculous it borders on immersion breaking

Every Elite/Brute feels like a mini boss, and takes away from the actual high ranks who should be that tough like Ultras and Chiefs

Giving a Flood Elite shields was a really stupid design choice

WHY did Sacred Icons last section have so many waves?

Johnson taking forever to shoot Tartarus made me more infuriated than some of the worst parts of the game

Rant over. Now for some positives

Friendly AI are badasses when kept alive, able to tear thru most enemies like nothing

The playstyle is restrictive, but I did enjoy the creative approaches I had to take

I enjoyed fighting high rank enemies cuz the steep difficulty felt believable. These are enemies I would expect to fire that fast and notice me almost immediately

As annoying as they are, killing Sniper Jackals was very satisfying

I used active camo in more situations than I expected

Clearing a room made me feel like a badass

The extra waves and more dependence on cover made things feel more high stakes and dangerous, which was exciting

Kills felt a lot more rewarding
