Today was hot, it's been getting hotter... but the AC is not going up in many places.

The trains are barely able to keep up with the heat, and some of these stations are smoldering inside.

Even combinis, which used to be like little oases in the desert heat, are now keeping their AC low.

This is all likely because of the threat of an energy crisis caused by the conflict near the strait of hormuz.

Not looking forward to July/August at all

I don't know who needs to hear this, but the market will LITERALLY never go down again.

Stonks go up is no longer a meme, it is a law, like gravity, only in reverse with money.

Let me explain why.

1. We owe 40 trillion in debt. Our interest payments are about to exceed our GDP. This means that the only way to make our interest payments ALONE is to print enough money to cover the interest

2. This will cause hyper inflation. But who cares if you own PLTR or TESLA stock? Those will inflate proportionally. You see, it's actually mathematically impossible for stocks to go down at this point. If they do, then the entire world economy will collapse

This is why you see any "crash" instantly recover within half a trading day. The stock market can LITERALLY NOT GO DOWN.

These are not famous last words. This is the new law of the land.

That his creation was a decades old plan by Crane and Joker?

Part of me thinks it may actually be true because Martha IS actually part of the court of owls (which I thought was really stupid, by the way, totally ruins the hometown Bruce-grew-up-with-nothing vibe)

But part of me thinks that it will actually turn out to be a pscyhological weapon used by Scarecrow in an attempt to break batman.

The joker is essentailly trying to break Bruce, he's had every opportunity and ability to kill him (the only reason Bane didn't kill Batman instantly was because Joker wouldn't allow it)... so it doesn't really make sense that Joker created bruce as a joke, and yet is trying to break bruce so bruce will join him.

I live on the west side of Shinjuku station, but am down to travel a bit.

I've begun to noticed a schism where places sushi places (in popular Tokyo areas) are either becoming cheap or moving towards luxury dining (even though it isn't) due to the massive influx of people coming in.

I just want a higher end, good value sushi meal without and bells and whistles. I don't need a ninja to deliver it to me from beneath the floorboards, and don't want a conveyor belt, and I don't want places trying to replicate NYC prices.

Any recs?
