Shower is not used, this is in a bathroom located in the master bedroom. I've tried convincing the homeowner this is a major issue to no avail. I've scrubbed it, it comes back. I'm moving out of the house so I don't really care anymore. I just wanna know what others think.

Mt girlfriends moms bathroom... she refuses to even think she has a mold problem.

Sorry for the typo in the title...

I've been living in this house for 7 years. I've known that there is a massive moisture and mold problem in this house.

My girlfriend has lived here her entire life, 27 years. She has eczema, asthma, terrible allergies, she recently developed stomach issues. Crazy bloating, reflux, pain and discomfort whe she ate anything. It progressed to the point of her having to get an appointment with a gastrointestinal doctor.

Then, 2 months ago a pipe burst. I can't tell you the amount of roof leaks, pipe leaks, pipe bursts we have had over the 7 years I've been here. But this one was the last straw.

My girlfriend was done with it. We packed our stuff and went to stay with my parents. We are buying a house in a few weeks here. Her symptoms have been lessening daily. Anxiety is nearly gone. She said she is more clear headed. Stomach issues almost non existent.

I am SO glad we are out of mold mansion. Idk what her moms problem is. She has bunches of money. She could remodel her entire house if she wanted to. She could at least solve her bathroom mold issue. Its in her MASTER BEDROOM. she stays there anytime she isn't at work. She's lays in bed feet away from the mold. Its like the mold has invaded her space and she just is totally fine with it. It just baffles me.
