I'm flea treating my grandmother's house, found this under the couch cushions. I'm starting to think all the bugs on this cushion were more than just fleas. Is it mold? Is this dog food somehow like molded or something? I would've posted this to r/whatisit but the sub automatically flagged it as excrement.
this was like a week ago— immediately threw it in the trash once I saw it. but, I was wondering if it was mold cuz it’s nothing I’ve seen before! 😭

my roommate and i have been living in section 8 housing for about 9 months now and i always thought this spot around my toilet was water damage but i’m starting to suspect that it’s actually mold ???? only because every couple of weeks after i clean my toilet, it will grow black mold spores again . for context: i never let my toilet get dirty, the only thing that piles up sometimes is my trash because i work 40+ hours a week. nonetheless it’s not like i’m destroying my toilet i try my best to keep it clean.
hey everyone!! i have owned crabs for over ten years now and i thought i knew nearly everything about mold and how to prevent it, but man the past couple days proved me incorrect.
i noticed the past couple days that i have been having a putrid smell coming from my tank, it smells like something dead. i did a thorough check today and found a white, stringy mold that looks like spider webs on some of my fake plants and sand. it was foul and made my skin crawl. i have two hermit crabs in a 2ftx2ft 60 gallon tank and feed them hermit crab meal with fresh fruit and veggies and supplements. both crabs are super active and alive, and my sand is not oversaturated. i have no idea what this mold is so i came here to see if any of you have experience with this situation. what is it? what do i do?
i removed the mold and the surrounding sand from the tank, the decor, obviously did my daily refresh for the food, etc.
I was inhaling this for who knows how long. I hate this heat wave and then to have mold and dust grow on your AC and standing fans. It wasn't even in a humid place and I have this room ventilated 24/7 so why did these white specs form? It isn't dust because it's white asf.

I don't know what happened, we checked the other pads, but this is the only one that had mold on it. Mind you, we didn't open this beforehand up until this morning. And we bought these like 5 days ago.
