Fired for retaliation

Here are my previous posts

In summary I was called into work on my days off but I was paid for less than 3 hours of work. I brought this up to my employer and they said they would pay me 3 hours but took away all my non contractual privileges, but not for my co workers.

2 days later they said they found out I was complaining that "I got the not so good jobs" after bringing up labor laws and that I wasnt a good fit for the role. I was only employed for 3 weeks so they ended my probationary period.

I recored all of our conversations, including the one where they explain that I was going to lose my privileges but not my co worker.

Do I have a case for retaliation? Does being employed for such a short period of time hurt my case that much?

Any advice is welcome, im going to see a lawyer after the long weekend but I would like to peace of mind until then.

3 Hour Rule Update

Original post https://www.reddit.com/r/legaladvicecanada/s/ZO7nc8D1Ud

I talked to my boss about the 3 hour Rule. Initially he tried to fight me on it saying it didnt apply to our industry. He later talked to HR and then confirmed it does apply.

The change would be that I am no longer aloud to use the company vehicle after work(it's a heavy duty golf cart, not street legal). I live on site in a remote camp so I just used it to go to the dinning hall anyway.

I cleaned out my car in the shop on my spare time now im not aloud to go inside the shop after hours or use tools.

On my lunch im automatically docked 30mins but my boss use to adjust it to my actual lunch use (so if I took a 20 min lunch im only docked 20mins) now im docked 30 mins no matter what.

When called in on i will be given 3 hours, but ill also be expected to work 3 hours now.

My boss told me if we're going to play by the book we're doing everything by the book. I thought Id get fired, this feels sorta feels like a punishment but I im not sure.

Dont be afraid to demand your rights.

3 Hour Rule For On Call

On Saturday I was called into work and worked about 40mins, my boss topped it up to 1 hour.

On Sunday I was texted in my work group chat and asked to come in and unclog a toliet, I asked what the location of the toliet was and my boss gave my text a thumbs up reaction. I punched in and went to where they claimed the toliet was clogged, when I arrived they said they fixed it themselves. I checked the group chat and they sent a text saying they didnt need me to come in 2 mins after I had clocked in and started driving there (it takes 2 mins to get there) I was punched in for a total of 7 mins. My boss says they're only paying me 7 mins since I wasnt suppose to come in.

Should I request 3 hours pay?

Its a new job how do I go about adressing being called in when im not actually needed?

Looking for both legal advice but also relational advice, I like this job but I dont want to be exploited.
