Is it crazy to buy a 2018 Arteon with 80k miles?

My 18yr old Polo with 140k miles has finally come to the end of it's life - I'm looking to upgrade to something nicer, I also have a first baby on the way so the Arteon seems to be the perfect blend of boot capacity, safety, MPG and elegance.

However with my budget (max £12k) from what I can see I'm looking at a 2.0l 2018 with around 80k miles.

Question is it crazy to buy an older model? I'll likely keep for around 5yrs or so. I'll likely do around 7.5k miles a year 80% city driving and 20% longer.
