First time marathoner, in week 2 of 16. In a parallel thread about carb loading, it was recommended to adapt to carb loading during the training phase as long runs progress so that you're prepared for carb loading before the race itself. What is the best way to accomplish this? How many carbs before what distance, when to consume, etc., without over-doing it?
I plan on running the Santa Rosa Marathon (my 1st) in August along with about 1500 others. The first 8.5 miles are on a 5ft wide paved trail. I assume it's going to stay real crowded for a while in the middle of the pack. Is it a real concern that the first few water stations will be incredibly crowded/backed-up? Should I plan on carrying water so I can skip the first few water stations?
CPAP newbie here looking to buy my first machine. Would a low hours Resmed Air Sense 10 for about $300 be a good deal and a good machine to get started with? Are the total hours easily viewable when I go to purchase a used machine?
I did an out and back run this morning and even though I closely retraced my steps, my Pace Pro gps indicates > 50ft separation between the paths taken. Is this level of GPS (in)accuracy in the range of what should be expected? I've got the GPS setting on "All Systems On".
Google tells me that it's possible to export a COROS-created workout from my Training Hub Calendar viewed with a browser on a computer
I see all my planned workouts in the Calendar tab but I don't see any provision to export. I only see export for executed workouts (activities). Can anyone clarify? Or perhaps this really isn't possible.
I have both a Coros and a Garmin watch. I'm following a Coros training plan and occasionally would like to do a planned workout on a Garmin watch.
