Living Campaign in Mothership

Hello everyone!

I would like to ask if any of you have tried running a multi-GM campaign using the Mothership RPG ruleset? What did you think of it? Any advice or suggestions from the Reddit community?

If you'd like to know more about our campaign and why we're doing this, feel free to read on—but consider it an optional quest! :)

Introduction

We are Kule Sakinleri, based in İzmir, Turkey. We're a non-profit organization dedicated to growing and preserving TTRPG and wargaming culture in our country.

Every year, we choose a theme and run a Living Campaign with 4-5 Game Masters and 30+ players. We usually go with d100 systems—historically Warhammer (Fantasy, Dark Heresy, etc.) since the core mechanics are easy to teach.

This year, I am the lead for the living campaign project, and I wanted to pivot to a Sci-Fi Horror theme. The premise is essentially: "A colony ship is trying to reach a new home planet, but people wake up from cryosleep due to an unknown emergency." I believe Mothership would be a perfect fit for this.

Additional Questions

  • Do you know the best way to contact the game's creators? I sent a support email through Tuesday Knight Games' website about a month ago and tried reaching out via Instagram, but haven't had any luck yet.

I'd love to exchange ideas with them, and if they are interested, I could even put together a questionnaire from our GMs and player-base specifically about their system and running Mothership in living campaigns.
