Flapping / ticking noise from engine heard inside
2010 GE 1.5 Manual, 180kms (110k miles)
Noticed it started to make this slapping sort of noise (LISTEN CAREFULL, its easier to hear when i rev it), almost sounds like rod knock just not as deep
The noise isnt ALWAYS as prominent it gets louder and quiter, no it doesnt correlate to the temp of the car, its random
And no its not to do with whether the ac is on or not
It does sound like its coming from the footwell/bottom of engine
The rest of the engine seems to be running fine, it feels strong and drives nice, oil is also topped up.
