Kinda crazy how 700c tires look bigger than 16s
Found this really cool green tea Fit (gen 3) while on vacation.
My partner and I have made a game of spotting Fits in the wild, much like Punch Buggy. We call it a Fitty Flick (I very creatively named my car Fitty). We live in the Pacific Northwest where Fits are abundant, so it is highly competitive. There’s also lots of cars that can be easily misidentified which causes drama.
Rules are obvious – you see a Fit you say “Fitty!” and get to flick the other person. If someone misidentifies a car as a Fit and flick you, you can flick them back.
The Fit you own has max 1 daily flicking value
Hope it catches on! We have a lot of fun with it
Running good as ever after being in my garage for a year
No working AC but that’s about it haha
I had to say goodbye to my 07 Fit that I’d had in the family since new due to rust (I live in Ontario). I replaced it this month with this 2013 Fit Sport and am loving it! 90,000km/55,000mi on the odometer.
Literally just got her back in March.... ugh
as far as i can tell, the two im looking at are identical except for mileage, year, and the transmission. both are around $10k. the 2016 has 80k miles while the 2015 has 100k. id have to drive an hour to test/buy the 2015; 10 minutes for the 2016.
im hesitant about a manual car as ive never driven one before. i think it probably wont be a problem, but everyone around me says itll get very annoying as i drive in a city and make frequent stops.
im mostly interested in getting a car thatll last me a while and can handle long drives.
pic is the 2016 car
After a year of missing out on other opportunities all over my state, this car ended up being less than two miles from my house.
2013 Sport 5MT - 105k miles - one owner, clean title, good records.
Found it on FB Marketplace and responded within an hour.
Has a couple of small battle scars but overall really good shape. No rust, checked out mechanically. Basically ticked all my boxes. It was well-loved by the woman who bought it brand new and she was sad to let it go.
Definitely needs a new hatch spoiler which is pretty faded and I'm going to spend the rest of the summer gradually going through the list of recommended 100k maintenance items that haven't been done, but for a 2nd car, something I can care for myself and hand down to my kid in a couple of years I'm very happy. It's a lot of fun to drive in a very different way. Also great to be back in a manual after a couple of years with only an automatic.
Just purchased a 2018 Honda Fit EX manual with 85,000 miles on it. She's clearly been well taken care of and garaged. This is my first Fit and live in an apartment in NH so im looking for some suggestions on what to do to keep the rust away and how to maximize performance. Looking to keep this as a daily for the next 50 years.
Alright, which one of you yahoos is this that lives 3 blocks from me?? I drive by a lot on my way to the store, and there's always a couple different Fits out front. And now there's one just like mine. I love it.
Just arrived CO in my cross-country trip. Really wish to bring it to the best view part. However, I am very worried about its power since it’s fully weighted. Should I do it or should I just stay on i70?
looking for first gen vivid blue pearl sport front valance and side skirts, does anyone know where to find some stuff like that?
The ac doesn’t blow air unless it’s set to the maximum speed. Any ideas on what it could be?
Just bought this 08’ sport for $1k with 363,000mi. 5spd well maintained! Pulled everything to do a valve adjustment and was incredibly happy to see the state of everything under the valve cover. Don’t know that I’ve ever seen a cleaner engine you’d never know the mileage by looking at it!!! Adjusted the valves and it has not a hint of a ticking sound anymore. Very exited to see how many miles I can put on it.
I just got my 2015 Honda Fit EX, only 29k miles. I don’t have it with me yet (getting shipped) it hasn’t had any accidents or issues that I’m aware of, I got it from CarMax. This is my first car so I have a lot of questions. What maintenance should I do once I have it? How soon should I wait to do any maintenance? Anything I should be checking for? Any help is appreciated
Fitbit is coming along, would LOVE to be able to adjust front dampening on the fly. Show me your “cowl cuts”
