Yikes, man.

Yikes, man.

Other driver at fault; will answer any questions, but it's worth mentioning that the Fit saved my ass after that 50+ mph crash.

Steering wheel cover

Link for the wheel cover website.

https://stitchingcover.com/?sca\_ref=8120205.L0EdLPIjH2&utm\_source=affiliate&utm\_medium=affiliate&utm\_campaign=affiliate&gad\_source=1&gad\_campaignid=24130175222&gbraid=0AAAABEfbniz6RUea0UdAkUA5XaPvJJk0J&gclid=CjwKCAjwqJXUBhBNEiwA8BgG7lzXroyhfVHEhxYpSz8mbtbolEt3dkNX8CuLu3CES9EYOOF89iwADhoCdf8QAvD\_BwE

This took me 6 hours to put on the stock wheel. I opted to take the steering wheel out of the car and completely dismantle it and then very carefully tape the cover on with the double-sided tape that was included and then it took a billion years to stitch it on real good, and then I had to do a bunch of super gluing just to make it extra well fitted, and then put it all back together which was kind of difficult with the extra material and stuff so it's not quite as tight as it used to be without the material but it's still good.

I recommend this. You can get them custom made with whatever materials and colors you want or they have default options that are cheaper and will ship faster. Not sponsored.

And then

And then

And then

Hey you guys! I just hit 170k!

So many oil changes, tires, brake pads, and a few batteries later. Now I've put 100k miles on my Fit!

A/C won’t blow hot or cold air

I can’t tell if I need a coolant recharge, new a blower motor and resistors or check my a/c relay? I already checked my fuses and nothing showed up

Hybrid Racing shift knob

Hi all, I recently bought this shift knob, I like the feel but people say it looks weird with the factory shift assembly. What do you think?

Not even registered yet and I decided to take off and paint the hubcaps. First little ornamental thing I’m doing for my car :)

Sanded, two coats of paint, two coats of semi gloss clear coat

Suspension

Sup people! I think I have a 3rd gen fit lol it’s a 2016 Honda Fit LX! I love the car, and have the only owner. It’s got about 80,000 miles on it! I’m here because although I love the car the suspension sucks! It feels completely blown, and I feel everything on the road. I move in LA I pray I don’t go over any pot holes, and bumps. Any of you guys experience the same issue with yours? If so, what suspension did you guys use to get it resolved? Is it fairly easy to replace? Any suggestions open! I’d love to replace the stock suspension soon. Thanks in advance!

Joined the Fam

My first manual car, bought it yesterday and drove it back 3 hours today. First time driving stick, but my friend came with me to coach me for a bit before he followed me back in his car.

2009 base model, 170k miles, almost brand new clutch, and well maintained. Also has an HKS cat-back exhaust, HPS cold (hot lol) air intake, and a Boss audio head unit with CarPlay etc. Snagged it for $4500.

Let me know how I did, and excited to be here! 😁

MPG Mystery

SOS: Help me solve the drop in MPG before I go crazy!

My 2013 Fit Sport has been getting 17 mpg for over a year now. I only get about 160 miles per tank before I have to fuel up again. Both verified with real math and not relying on the trip computer. I do mostly city driving and only drive about 4 miles per day with max speed of 35.

I have thrown so much money into it and have yet to fix the issue. I’ve taken it to multiple mechanics including Honda (twice alone), but no one has been able to diagnose and fix.

Things I’ve done or had done: filling up at different gas stations, all new spark plugs, valve adjustment, brake check, maintained tire pressure, regular oil changes, transmission flush, new battery, fuel injector cleaners…

No blown fuses, no dash lights (they all work), no dragging brakes, not holding water, and no codes. It drives great otherwise.

Any ideas?! I’m desperate. TIA

AirTag hidden placement suggestions

Where in your Fit have any of you stashed an AirTag? (Or stashed a similar device?)
I use a little case shown in a comment since Reddit had an error when I included it in the post.

I've only zip tied it to a child seat tie down, where the seats fold up. The AirTag though is slightly visible. Yes I'm aware a thief could cut a zip tie, but it makes it harder for them to toss if they don't carry scissors.

Any suggestions on alternate places? (Note: I'd need to access it every year or two to replace the battery.)

We don't need to spend time on privacy discussions in this post.
I'm the only person ever in my Fit, and only use it track down my car, ok?
