Managing leave and cancer

Hi all,

wondering if anyone has experience navigating extended cancer treatment in VPS?

I have some leave but only a couple of months, and also it seems unpredictable how you feel through treatment Ito capacity to work.

Any experience or ideas welcome on

A) how to have these conversations with your manager when there's still a lot of uncertainty, and

B) managing leave

Thanks

Struggling today after unexpectedly bad pathology news - can you share ideas or phrases that have helped you get through this please?

Hello, just got some hard news that instead of stage 1 in looking at something 3+ TBD based on more surgery/scans. I'm trying hard not to fall into the abyss so please toss me a line if you have one:

Anything you've read or heard or told yourself that helped you to manage this?

I'm thinking things like 'to worry is to suffer twice', which I quite like and find motivates me out of a rumination spin.

All thoughts welcome, thank you xx

Any info on doctors strike? Have cancer surgery next week and a bit anxious

Title says it I guess- I have cancer surgery scheduled for next week and it took a while to get into the system and get the date, so I'm a bit anxious about anything pushing it back.

Does anyone know anything about the extent of the strike or proposed dates?

Anyone spotted aurora tonight?

Apparently tonight is an active night but I didn't see anything indicating people are seeing it. Has anyone been lucky?
