Does anyone have any experience with Chinese-made car lifts? I'm curious about their quality, reliability, and whether they're worth buying?
I'm looking at some Chinese-made car lifts at a Ritchie Bros. auction, and I'm wondering if they're worth buying.
I have the space for one, and I've seen them sell for as low as $1,000 CAD, although most seem to go for around $1,300–$1,600. They're listed as unused and rated to lift 10,000 lbs.
I'm just wondering if they're actually worth it or if I should be worried about safety. I don't want to end up getting crushed by my car. I wouldn't be using it every day—probably only a few times a month for maintenance and repairs, and any other trouble I can get into.
Does anyone here have experience with these lifts? Are they decent, or is it better to save up for a name-brand one?

One week of driving the fit

Honda Fit car shows
Does anyone know of any Honda Fit meets or shows, like Fit N' Friends, happening this year?
I live in Southern Ontario, but I'm willing to make a bit of a road trip for a good event. I'd love to meet other Fit owners and check out some builds. Thanks!

My new 2007 5 speed manual sport
New car bought new in Michigan and got sold into Ontario sometime in 2010 now in 2026 just got sold to me at an auction in London Ontario, it’s a 2007 5 speed manual sport almost no rust (I’m gonna undercoat it before the winter)

Every time I stop in Wichita Falls for gas, there’s this weird glitch, like something strange is always going on at this intersection. Has anyone else experienced this? Not sure if it’s my mods or an ingame issue.
