Assalamu Alaikum.

I’m still learning the Qur’an and I don’t understand Arabic yet except for the meaning of Surah Al-Fatihah. I try to plan my daily schedule around my salah and I genuinely want to improve my worship, but I have a problem.

I struggle a lot with khushu in salah, and even during dhikr my heart feels distracted. Sometimes I feel like I’m just saying the words without fully feeling them.

Has anyone else gone through this while learning Islam? What helped you develop more focus and sincerity in worship? I would appreciate advice from people who experienced this and improved over time.
