Is grad admissions typically slow at SBU?

I applied to SBU for the online MSW program February 20th prior to the priority deadline which was March 1st. I am still waiting on a decision. Did anyone else apply to this program or is in this program? I applied originally just for FT but also asked to be considered for part time.

Does it usually take this long? Because they told me they got more applicants than usual, but this is my last option left for this cycle and is also my top choice (price and bc it is an affordable suny)

I am a May 2024 grad with a different degree (BFA in Graphic Design) and was in a competitive suny program with not many professors. I asked professors to help me next cycle with letters and only two are able to help me, others are unwilling to or don’t answer their email or retired. I need 3 letters for next cycle if I were to apply again. I also don’t have work supervisors to ask, and internship advisor isn’t helpful either.

I wrote on April 29 and just honestly asking what I should do at this point and how long I should wait this out for bc it is honestly driving me nuts at this point..

I applied to two online MSW SUNY programs and last minute applied to Adelphi. This cycle I got rejected by one, accepted by one (but it is too expensive), and still waiting on one Stony Brook online MSW. I want to prepare for next cycle ahead of time, but plan to apply to all online MSW SUNY Programs (there are five in total). The problem is getting recommenders.

I got four professors to help me this cycle. However, it was very difficult getting in touch with my former professors for this cycle. One so far said they would be willing to help again for next cycle, but I need two more recommenders. I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design, and suffer from Severe Anxiety Disorder and when I tried to ask the head of the program and former advisor this cycle if she could help me she basically tried saying she couldn't speak the best of my social abilities and asked if I looked specifically at what MSW programs ask for. Which was honestly a huge blow for me. I asked three other professors i had courses with, but theyre very hard to get a hold of. There are two professors I didn't ask for because one I have a very bad relationship with due to personal reasons (treating me poorly) and another i only had one course with years ago... i had two other professors but they retired and i only took one class with them.

I also haven't had a job where I was able to last for a while so I don't have any work references I could ask. I was wondering what I could do in this scenario because I wanted to apply last year but was many months to late to apply. Applied this cycle, still waiting on one program which is my top choice but honestly dont think i am going to get in... I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me.
