converted iim i yesterday and now my family wants me to leave iim k for it
IIM K was my best call and converting it was a dream come true
But my family didn’t show much happiness they were contemplating how far I would be
How will I survive in a place where I don’t know a single word of their language
And worst of it all ragging incidents at IIMK - the last year's fiasco done by placecom (I have been telling them that this happens at every bschool)
Even it happened in Indore
My brother did a basic Google search asking which IIM is worst in ragging and IIM K and IIM Rohtak came up
and a case of sexual assault committed by a student
I’m in so much stress rn, I want to go to iim k only but convincing my family that i will be ok is so hard
They are suggesting that I take imi delhi as i live in delhi and it would be safer
i have never been far away from home in my entire life i understand their concern
but iim k is a college and i feel that there is nothing for me to be afraid of
as for the last years ragging issue
the authorities at iim k did take notice of the issue and suspended senior placecom committee
EDIT - Convinced them, I’m going to iim k🫡
I’m super happy and coming 2 years would be wonderful and the beauty of kerela I just love that place ( only seen in movies and reels will experience in real life now)
