Hey all, I am booked on Monday to get the coil, will I regret it?

I'm 47 and perimenopausal, having gone through 6 months of no periods last year. They are back now, sometimes heavy and last one quite light. I also have low back pain and 0 libido and no energy. I have gained some weight in the last say, 2-3 years which made me go one size up. So I'm hoping that going on HRT might help. I'm quite concerned about the fitting procedure of the coil as even though I'm used to pain, I have had no births, just one miscarriage. Any suggestions?
