Reciever Upgrade for basic console switching setup reccomendation
Hey all,
I have an ancient Onkyo R370 and I'm finally looking to upgrade. All I really have is a PS5 and Ps3 and a multimedia video player hooked up, and I'm looking for a good budget reciever. The R370 was a nightmare on my set up, as it doesn't reciever sound via HDMI (one of the last ones released before it more or less became standard on Onkyos). So to get my PS5 to output sound I have it leading to a splitter that extracts to an optical, then that leads to an HDMI switcher, which leads to the reciever than to the TV. 4 HDMI cables.
I've made due for years with this. I'm not look for amazing audio--I just have a front L+R speaker and center speaker. I just want mainly something I can click the input and switch reliably to my console without having to fiddle with multiple hdmis.
I've heard that Denon AVR-S570BT 5.2 is a good budget?
