Lost item - ended up back in Asia
I took a flight with SAS from HND to CPH yesterday and realised I lost my small bag with all IDs and cards after I got on my connecting flight. (Un)luckily my AirPods were inside the bag so I got tracking on them. I could see they were inside the aircraft all evening in CPH and hoped to get them delivered to lost and found. To my big surprise, I woke up seeing them in SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA! They are still appearing at the airport and strongly disbelieve it to be stolen. Clearly, the aircraft has not been cleaned properly.
Been a thrown back and forth between Danish police, Korean police, both countries lost and found services and SAS customer service. SAS is telling me it is the airport responsibility while the airport/police says it is the airline. This aircraft is according to SAS flying from Seoul to Tokyo tonight and now telling me I need to contact lost and found in Japan. Well, on their site it says contact the airline.
Curious to see where my AirPods are tomorrow morning.
Any similar experience and suggestion for what to do in this case??
