P0171 code chase

Hi all,

My 2016 xc90 t6 has been getting a p0171 code since about June of this year. I performed a smoke test and there was a huge leak from the supercharger gaskets. I replaced the entire supercharger and gaskets (vehicle at 100k miles), ignition coils and spark plugs. Thought that would solve it as the gasket was blown when I pulled it out, but no. Redid the smoke test and had no leaks anywhere. My PCV oil trap was sludgy around it so I replaced that along with my PCV valve in hopes that would solve it. No fix.

Anyone help me with what this could be? The vehicle will sit for about 5 days in the garage as I use another car to commute, upon turning it on (Friday usually) the check engine light will be gone. I’ll drive for about 20-30 miles and the check engine light will come back on and stay on until the vehicle is stored again for the next few days.

I’m thinking possible purge valve? But can’t find anything online on where to locate this on my model. Not quite sure where to go from here so any and all help would be great!

2016 xc90 t6 inscription p0171 code

Hi all,

I have been getting an intermittent P0171 code on my 2016 XC 90. I noticed that if it’s really hot outside and my car isn’t in the garage that when I started it, it idles rough initially, but then calms down after about two minutes. I then started to get an intermittent check engine light, with a OBD scanner. I found that it was throwing the P0171 code. I did check the PCV buy running the vehicle and loosening and tightening the oil cap to listen for any change in sound. There was no change in sound.

I ran the OBD scanner to look at fuel and got the following results in the pictures. Not sure what all of this means so hoping someone that has more knowledge on fuel systems can help me figure out what my next steps should be.

Hi,

While switching out winters on my girlfriend’s FWD 2008 HONDA CRV, a wheel stud broke.

After getting the rotor off and angle grinding the old studs off… the new stud will in no way go on. Does anyone have advice on how to get this in without taking the wheel bearing off? I tried the “D” cut on the stud but the angle and the wheel bearing are still in the way.

UPDATE:

Got it fixed. Shaved down the wheel hub, gently hammered in stud, then used a die thread to fix any threads damaged during insertion. And done! Not the right way by any means but enough to get a 2008 CRV with over 200k back on the road for now.
