I have no idea how they're gonna do it. I don't want them to erase the history of og Teen Titans (Dick, Wally, Donna, Garth, Roy) and I'm so so so so curious how they're gonna adapt it. What do you think? Which members do you think we'll see in the movie? Do you think there will be a past of og Teen Titans?
I can't stop thinking about Superman even though it's been more than a year. James Gunn is such a great storyteller. I always get goosebumps when I watch this movie. It always leaves a big smile on me. Especially**this** is one of my favorite scenes ever.
I think Superman is the best superhero movie and the best comic book movie of all time, I don't care what anyone says. Jimmy knows how to touch my feelings. He has a pure passion about cinema and storytelling. I can't wait to see more of his work.
I loved the first half of the movie. It was fun, visually nice and all of the characters were really interesting. As a Star Wars and a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, I can definitely say Supergirl has that feeling and I love it. My expectations were low so I didn't even expect to enjoy the movie that much.
Unfortunately the third act was very disappointing. Kara and Ruthye's devolopment kind of just... happened by itself? If we skip the 3rd act and skip right to the final scenes, then yeah, they turned into the characters they're supposed to be at the end of the movie. But there's nothing much in the movie to fill that devolopment of these characters individually nor their dynamic. Also dialogue is kinda weak.
That needle drop... yep... that was bad. Not just the song, scene also didn't sit right with me. They tried to make something like "Lois Lane - Mr. Terrific fight scene". They did it twice but neither of them worked.
Even though the movie is kinda mid, it's a good addition to DCU. We saw bunch of different planets, many kinds of life forms and aliens and I really enjoyed to see them. We got Lobo, baby! Also it's a good addition to Krypton lore in my opinion.
A solid 6.5/10.
