Has anyone recently paid PTA tax through a Habib Metro ATM? Is it still a viable and smooth option, or are there any issues/errors during the process?

Also, if someone pays PTA tax over the counter at the bank using a deposit slip, do banks only accept cash payments, or can the payment also be made through a cheque?

Would appreciate if anyone who has done this recently could share their experience.
