23F Moving to Richardson – Best Apartments/Areas Near CityLine for Young Professionals + Looking for Female Roommate

Hi everyone! I’m moving to Richardson soon for work near 1011 Galatyn Pkwy and would really appreciate apartment/area recommendations from people familiar with Richardson.

I’m 23F and currently looking around Galatyn Park / CityLine, but I’m open to nearby areas too. Since I’m new to Dallas, I’d ideally like to live somewhere that has other young professionals and is lively/social, with cafes, restaurants, bars or things to do nearby on evenings and weekends. I don’t want to end up somewhere that feels completely dead after work 😅

What I’m looking for:

  • Ideally $1,300–$1,400/month for my share
  • Open to a studio/1BR OR a 2BR with a female roommate
  • Definitely open to connecting with potential female roommates around my age
  • Furnished would be a big plus, but not mandatory
  • Safe area with good apartment management
  • Walkable to DART or an easy commute to Galatyn Park
  • Ideally somewhere I can manage without immediately buying a car
  • Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. nearby
  • Most importantly, somewhere with a younger/livelier atmosphere where it’s easy to go out, meet people and have things to do on weekends

I’ve been looking at Junction at Galatyn Park, Axis 110, Anthem CityLine, The Standard at CityLine, and Foundation at CityLine, but I’m not sure whether Galatyn Park or CityLine would be better socially.

Would you recommend CityLine, Galatyn Park, or another nearby neighborhood for someone in their early 20s? Any apartment complexes you’d strongly recommend or avoid?

Also, if you're a female looking for a roommate around CityLine/Galatyn Park, feel free to DM me!

Thank you!!
