Loud chain noise and bad feel after changing casette/chain
Here is a video of the problem: https://youtu.be/vSnVVRIANnA
I switched from a 10 speed kcm chain to a 11 speed kcm prewaxed chain. I cut the chain to the length of the previous chain, which was working well. The old chain went in until the 0,75 mark on the measurement tool. At first I tried to only change the chain but it was slipping in the higher gears so I bought a new casette as well.
The casette is 10 speed. I think the old casette was Shimano DEORE CS-HG50, 11-36, the new casette is also a CS-HG50 10-speed Kassette 11-36 . I didn't have a torque wrench to install the new one so I just did it by feel. I cant feel much movent, just a tiny little bit when I push it. I checked it with a new bike of mine, which has identical movement at the casette.
The rear wheel hub is a Joytech Disc D982TSE 12/142mm, 6-bolt
When I pedal it makes loud noises, similar to a very badly indexed shifting. In the big chainring it's not that noticable but in the small ring it's very loud and feels "bad". Like the gears are not lined up well or the chain doesn't fit in the gears well.
In the bikestand I tried to index the gear. It shifts pretty decently and I can't hear loud noises when I pedal with my hand. At first I put it in the highest gear, disconnected the cable, set the h limit, connected the cable, tuned it with the barrel adjuster, then set the L limit.
Did I buy the wrong parts or route my chain incorrectly somehow? Or do I just need some professional to fix my indexing?
