What cards should I look into to maximize earnings?

  • Current cards:
    • Wells Fargo Active Cash, limit $7500, April 2024
    • Capital One debit card, April 2026
  • FICO Score: 760 Experian
  • Oldest account age: 3 years
  • Chase 5/24 status: 0/24
  • Income: $66,000
  • Average monthly spend and categories:
    • dining $200
    • groceries: $800
    • gas: $70
    • travel: $60
    • dog supplies: $60
    • Books: $30
  • Open to Business Cards: No
  • What's the purpose of your next card? I would like a card that will maximize points/cash back on everyday things like groceries.
  • Do you have any cards you've been looking at? I have been looking at a Amex Gold or Amex Blue cash.
  • Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? Yes I would like category spending since my current card is a good catch all with 2% cash back on every purchase.
