Rosacea type and procedure recs
Hello, everyone! Putting a spoiler on extremely close-up pictures of my nose, which is the main victim of my rosacea. I think it’s not the worse I usually have it, a lot of times I have white pustules (I think) which leave scars sometimes.
I got diagnosed by a dermatologist like a year ago but I’ve realised they never told me my type (at the point I didn’t even know what rosacea was and that it has types, only after I went to this Reddit and saw the posts). I wonder if you could help me out? It’s probably mixed type. My noise is extra oily, since it’s still spring and it’s very cool where I live my cheeks and eyebrow then are dry to normal even though they’re red too. My skin is pretty sensitive.
Also unfortunately due to my anxiety-depressive disorder I couldn’t hit the 3 month mark of routine that went like this:
Morning: Atopalm Washing Foam
Rozamet cream
Bioderma Sensibio AR+ Cream
Uriage Roseliane SPF (which felt so heavy on skin but to top it off has the “rose scent” which is hard to handle)
Night: Atpopalm Washing Foam
Skinoren 20%
I hope to start it over again, and maybe I’ll succeed this time, wish me luck!
But in the meantime I also wondered if there is a quicker way for this (or a way that doesn’t involve me doing so many tasks) and what cosmetology clinic has to say. The consultation was cheaper than the derm I went to and they insisted me to keep going with that routine though they recommended me other SPF (I use Skin 1004 probio cica one right now) like La Roche-Posay and Bioderma ones.
They told me to do collagen (Jufora) injections to smooth out the skin and that it would help with the RF-needling they want for me later. I wonder if that’s just not it for my condition? They told me it would be painful and that they see my nose is red (duh!) but didn’t mention risks, really, though they asked me whether I have allergies or had my scars react in a different way, ofc. I’m not sure we have V-Beam in my city, though I’ll be searching. Do you think the cosmetology clinic route is even worth to try or is it too big of a risk? Is there anything else?
