POKHARA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ARE BEING IGNORED ON PURPOSE

How long are students supposed to suffer because of endless administrative excuses?

“Academic Council incomplete”
“Technical issues”
“Rules can’t be changed”

Same explanations, every time.

But during COVID, decisions were changed instantly when they wanted to.

Now suddenly nothing can be done for students?
What’s even more shocking is that the official letter students had already submitted was apparently never even forwarded by the Controller of Examinations to the Registrar.

Students are being ignored while the administration keeps delaying everything.
This is why students from EVERY affiliated college need to act now.
Submit a demand letter to your principal/director demanding:
• Removal of the 24-credit limit
• Flexible chance examinations
If pressure comes from every college, the university leadership will be forced to respond.
If we stay silent now, nothing changes.
Stop playing with students’ futures.

UPDATE: Review of the Discussion Held on Jestha 5 and Our Upcoming Strong Actions!

Dear Friends,
Our campaign against the impractical rules of the current examination system is still ongoing. In this regard, our representative team held an initial discussion on Tuesday, Jestha 5, 2083, with the newly appointed Registrar, Prof. Haribahadur Khadka, at the university’s central office.
During the discussion, several serious administrative manipulations and technical excuses came to light, which we are closely monitoring.
Main Points from the Jestha 5 Discussion:
Administrative Excuse:
The Registrar stated that, since he is currently serving in an acting capacity and the Academic Council is not yet complete, it is technically not possible to change the rules.

Our Disagreement:
When he previously served as Dean, he was able to make special coordination arrangements to conduct online classes during the COVID period. However, now, while serving as Registrar and Chairperson of the Examination Committee, claiming that special decisions cannot be taken in favor of students is contradictory. We do not agree with this argument.
Administrative Negligence:
Another unfortunate matter is that our Controller of Examinations had not forwarded the official letter we previously submitted to either the former or the current Registrar. We strongly condemn this extreme negligence by the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
