Best scooter for daily Kathmandu street with busy road and traffic.

I am going to have at trip for Assam and Meghalaya and want to rent a bike but I am confused which one would be best suited for the case

Recently bought this bike as it was on my wishlist for a while. As someone who rode scooter for a while, I thought it would be difficult to ride such a heavy and powerful bike, but man this bike rides smooth af. Glad I bought it, can't wait to do some long rides!

Been riding for a week in Kathmandu, and there's not a single day where I'm not in a close encounter with another bike or car. Literally every day I feel like it's gonna be my last day. It's not like I ride super carefully either; if I get a chance to speed up and overtake, I do. But the encounters have been so precarious that I feel like I would die if I didn't hit the brakes two seconds earlier. Is this the norm here or it just happens to me?

I bought my scooter on July 10 last year. When do I need to renew my Bluebook?

I've heard that there's a 90-day grace period, but some people have also told me that if I renew it after Ashar, I'll have to pay a 32% penalty.

What's the actual rule?
And do I renew the insurance through the showroom where I bought the scooter or do I contact the insurance company directly?
