Will Honda Nepal do it this time ?

The issue with crf and xr till now that it was imported from Thailand (crf) or Taiwan (xr - i heard somewhere), when you import bikes from Indian you pay in INR when you import from anywhere else than India you pay in USD. This combined with shipping etc has made the crf/ xr very expensive till now.

But now that changes with the Honda XR 300s, yes Honda Nepal has history of making even the Indian imported bikes extremely expensive here compared to other brands like Hero, Triumph, KTM, but my only hope is now, for these models they will assemble them here and get the prices down.

If they do so the bikes must arrive here at around 7lakhs, which would be a steal. Im selling my triumph for that no doubt. But if they as usual import them with the Jyoti tax then a big finger to them. All we can do is hope now.

(Just look at this red beast)

Need classics recommendation (Finished the count of monte cristo)

So I got down my first classic literature, The count of monte cristo and I must say it was a nice adventure. A very easy going book I must say (received it as a gift and started reading it 8 months later and got it completed in less than 2).

So now I am in look of other classics, I am planning to read Crime and Punishment but saw online that it is a bit of a difficult read. What are your thoughts on that, please recommend me some of your favourites 😁

A month of reading The Count of Monte Cristo

Started this book July 22. What a wonderful read.
Spent the whole day today around hattiban reading through volume 3 and finally completed chapter 73.
I am excited for the remaining pages.

My experience with dating apps

29M from Kathmandu and I’ve been trying the popular dating apps lately. Here’s my honest take:

• Tantan: Almost useless. The app is flooded with scammers promoting paid stuff and fake profiles. Hard to find real people.

• Bumble: Feels a bit more fancy compared to others. Quality seems slightly better, but still not many solid conversations. Hard to get matches as well.

• Tinder: A mix of the above. I do get a few matches here and there, but most matches either ghost quickly or the chats don’t go anywhere.

How’s your experience been
