New watch guy, checked for a while as to what to start with, and the new Presage line got me caught. Pretty happy with the buy and already ordering more 🫠

3+ months of looking and I’ve finally found this new (to me) SPB409J1. Absolutely mesmerizing watch and the photos don’t come close to doing it justice.

Would like to get a metal bracelet, any recommendations?

Saw this seiko at Costco tonight for 159 bucks. I know it’s a quartz model but looks like a good looking watch for the price point. Anyone have any experience with this model

God i just live this watch, nearly 10 years of owning it and its still my go to beater and exploration watch.

Never thought I’d be a diver kinda guy. Yet here I am. 🐢

Four weeks with the 317 and I’m honestly still ridiculously happy with it.

Could it be my one and only diver? Perhaps. I’m a minimalist at heart, so the idea of finding the one is pretty appealing. Doesn’t mean I’ll stop admiring other watches, though.

Dress it up, dress it down — this thing just does it all.

Not sure if it’s the best diver at this price point. But for me? It might just be my one and only.

Saw it at Costco and I loved the way it looks

…well technically my second as I also ordered the sports 5 Edo but that one doesn’t ship until October.

I chose the Mint Mist as I love the combination of green, gold and brown.

It’s absolutely stunning in person and it’s safe to say it’s one of my most beautiful pieces (which actually doesn’t mean much as I just started my watch collection after finally being able to step back from smartwatches).

I got to try on the latest Marine Master. It’s a gorgeous watch—I think I’m going to give in and buy one sometime this year.

I noticed two things:

- The gap between the case and the band—is that normal? You can see it clearly in the top left of the photo.

- The bezel feels a little odd to me. It’s really hard to describe—it feels like I’m turning the bezel on my Seiko 5. Maybe even a little stiffer. I was expecting a bit better for this price 😅

Now I just have to save up 😂

Do we call this a Seiko 62MAS Homage?

Sorry these are not the best photos but im too excited.

Basically I got obsessed about the SK013 but since its discontinued the price was out of budget.

So I bought a modified Islander ISL-05 , it has a seiko OEM Dial.

Well, Im not tech savvy at all and this was the first time I perticipated in an Ebay auction. And I won for 50 cents. I thought I could retire from theauction and wanted to do that when I decided for the ISL.

Now I got 2 watches.

Honestly I'm loving the look,. I have yet to size the straps correctly but omg these jubilee straps are awesome.

My review is: The ISL is the better watch, the straps look and feel awesome.

However seiko is just so good, it has the days in spanish which is my mother tongue so now I'm thinking about what to do.

I came to terms with selling the o.g. SK013 in a while, keep it stored for when one day the price goes up.

My other idea is to have the straps of the bacelet changed so they'll have more body on the o.g. seiko.

But man am I impressed by the seiko aestethics, it reads so nices and the days are written in such a nice way.

Im a fan. I now understand this subreddit. Anyways I might just have to use both and decide.

Devrais-je plutôt acheter la montre en acier puis le bracelet nato ?

Connaissez-vous des sites revendant des bracelets officiels et compatibles ?

I just recently left the smart watch world and so far I have purchased a Bulova Luna Pilot 45mm and Orient Bambino 7 40mm. I’ve had my eye on a Seiko 5 Sports Field for a while but given my wrist is almost 7.5 inches I was concerned about fit. I know this is pretty subjective but before I decide to keep it or not I’m looking for some opinions on fit. My mind is so use to large watches (I’m coming from Fenix 8 47mm) that it is hard for me to judge. Sorry I’m unable to fasten the bracelet due I haven’t decided if keeping.

I’m really interested in picking up a SRPE05 king turtle grenade, but I’m curious as to what owners have to say that’s negative about the watch? I’m also skeptical about sizing as I have a skinny wrist and the mini turtles are getting harder and and pricey to find.
