I’ve wanted this watch to exist for as long as I can remember.
Citizen should build an ISO-certified Promaster moonphase diver.
200-300m water resistance, Eco-Drive, sapphire crystal, fully lumed bezel, and a lumed moonphase. I’d keep it a real tool watch, not a dress watch pretending to be a diver.
The Blancpain Bathyscaphe Moonphase proved the concept works. I’d love to see Citizen do it in their own way at a price enthusiasts could actually afford.
In my head it’s always had a deep blue dial with gilt accents. The gilt reminds me of the moon reflecting off a dark blue ocean during a night dive. I’d buy that watch in a heartbeat.
I’d call it the Aqua-Luna… maybe the Nautaluna.
I know it’s a niche idea, but Citizen has never been afraid to make interesting Promasters. An Eco-Drive moonphase diver feels like a project only they would really do.
Does anyone know how to get a product idea in front of Citizen? I’d love to pitch this. I’m not giving up on it.
