I am overhauling my 1994 Mazda Miata in Laguna Blue! The mechanic I trust has taken care of the brakes, Flyin’ Miata stage 2 clutch and lightened flywheel, AWR 70 engine mounts, brakes (new rear calipers, rotors, EBC Yellowstuff pads, stainless steel brake lines) and Corbeau A4 seats with new seatbelts. I am hiring him to install the new radiator and its components/supporting parts, timing kit with relevant seals (crankshaft, camshafts) , and rear strut brace!

The car should be more confidence-inspiring when driving it hard and on curvy roads!

After cooling and timing overhaul, I will install a Skunk2 Racing 64 mm throttle body!

I’m debating if I want to purchase the Skunk2 Racing intake manifold.

Does anyone have experience with that particular manifold? Did you notice a difference in HP and/or torque?

If anyone is interested in my build, PM and I can send you the build sheet I’ve saved in my notes!

Any input/advice would be appreciated!

The car is much more responsive now; it previously had a slipping clutch and iffy brakes!

The engine no longer moves under hard acceleration or braking.
