Anyone know what these fetch at a scrap yard?

Just bought this gt with 64k miles on it from the Seattle area in February. Was told it was garage kept its whole life, when it clearly was not. Hood scoop flew off on the freeway going home, leaving behind 5/7 of the rusted out studs in the hood. Finally found a new scoop for it in great condition, but I don’t want to put it on until I deal with these rusted out holes in my hood. Any suggestions on how I should go about cleaning her up?
QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED ALREADY
Please don't downvote me it was a serious question, I have never owned a mustang before and was unaware that the car even had power locks.
It's been really bothering me lately so I figured I should ask a community who might know.
Is it just a "poverty button" that only actually functions on higher trim levels or convertibles? Or does it actually have a use? When pressed it makes a grinding sound but doesn't seem to actually do anything.
I’m considering bidding on a 2001 cobra with low miles. Great condition. Plan to inspect thoroughly in person but what should I look for? Also I believe reserve is set for 19k. Is that high/low?
Is that a thing or is it too much like a cargo cult mach 1? Has anyone done it to theirs? Paint or wrap? Flat black or gloss? Any black decals to accent?
I want to make my scoop black but idk if I'm crazy. Full disclosure I used to own a mach 1 and now have a GT and I kind of miss the black spoiler and accents at the bottom of the door too
Bone stock motor - No Cats - Flow master mufflers - 133k original miles. CAR IS ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS
Have a 2000 with 55k on it, I’ve had numerous issues where I’ve had to feel the problem out because it won’t throw a code ever. Never pending codes either.
Recently just took the cats off, and no code even after 100 miles so there’s definitely been drive cycles.
Anyone know why?
Also note I’m a second owner the first owner never tuned the car it was bone stock when I got it. Also the bulb is still working I checked.
Are these stock or upgraded injectors. 2004 GT.
so, i want the terminator bumper, considering as its the cleanest and best looking one in my opinion on the market. but ive been searching for a cobra r style bumper, because its the same as the 99-01 cobra bumper but has a larger prescense, although the cobra r bumper with the huge lip wouldnt fit. are there any bumpers on the market that are essentially the cobra r bumper without the lip, or atleast a less aggressive one? thank you!
Love the stock wheels but they were lacking. Wife did some AI magic OMFG the car is too sexy
Not a huge fan of ai but for stuff like this its amazing
What do you guys think?
I have a 2002 GT with power window failure. Anytime I go to roll down specifically the driver side window it clicks and I hear a little sound that goes along with the click. Now for the passenger side, absolutely nothing happens when I go to roll it down. Mind you I’ve been through 4 batteries since 2021 (I hope to god that’s not normal) a brand new alternator, and a painful GEM replacement. Could there be some sort of short? Could it be a fuse? What else could it be? Your input would do wonders for me!
Last owner did their own paint job. Fisheyes and other imperfections. Doing a wrap because I’m cheap. But it’s coming out great.
first car, got some work to do but i thinks shes pretty nice. picture gets rid of all the imperfections haha
I posted a while ago trying to find a set of seats that sit lower in my new edge. For anyone also looking for something similar, I purchased a corbeau Evo X seat and corbeau seat bracket. When I installed it per corbeaus instructions, I still sat at about the same height as the factory power seat and a little to close to the steering wheel, so I decided to ditch the supplied sliders and build my own fixed rails. Using 1/2”x1” square steel tubing in place of the sliders, I’ve got the seating position about 2” lower than factory. Just thought I’d share this incase anyone else hates the stock seating position, I can also now wear a helmet and not bash it off the roof in the event of a side impact.
Hello everyone,
I want to get rid of the amber reflectors on my 2002 mustang but am not in the budget to get new headlights. Does anyone know how to separate the lens from the housing so I can pop the reflectors out? I already have the bulbs out so I just need the reflectors out.
Trying to do my rear brakes, everywhere I look is saying different ways to jack it up, torque box, pinch welds, differential? Anyone have any guidance I’d appreciate it
Picked this up from an older gentleman who owned it since 2004. 2000 gt 5spd never winter driven, has some lot rot but for a 26yr old rust belt car im jizzing how clean it is!! Its a US car with 57k miles (so about 92k km). Was written off at some point, likely front right judging by shitty fender paint, drove straight, was dirty inside but was good deal paid $7k
Have oem headlights to install, wife n i spend a day detailing the interior, took the seats out its basically new now, found like 20 golf balls and 5000 golf tees in places that dont make sence along with a mouse house and his shit in the spare tire well. cant wait to get it on the road!!
Did ziptie fuel pedal mod and bent the shifter back with a map torch so i can actually reach it! Going to keep it mostly stock, spacers for rear wheels, short shifter, make a custom glasspack catback, and found out the engine can take 6-10psi stock with a 76mm turbo, which i have conveniently sitting in my garage.
Coming from bmw projects, parts are cheap!! This is gonna be dangerous
Dream come true and the wife even is excited about it lol im so used to buying cheap garbage and having to cobble 2 cars together, this is turn key fun!!!
Is there anything i should address/look out for asap?
