Used low voc paint on a thin fabric (furniture protector) on the walls (long story don't ask... basically it'll be covered by wooden boards eventually). Painting was done around 4pm. I sat in the room with the window open until 11pm with no symptoms. Then I closed the window and quickly started getting a headache, so I decided to sleep in another room for the night. I entered again this morning and once again got a headache pretty quickly and even started feeling a bit lightheaded despite the window having been open all night. I've had the ducted fans on and a fan pointed at the open window for about 3-4 hours now. Its been almost 24 hours since painting now, is it likely to be safe? Can I write off the headache as just a reaction to the smell? Or did painting on the fabric mean it's unsafe for longer than usual? Thanks.
