3D diffraction of light through a water droplet

I made a 3D interactive graph of the process that creates rainbows following the one I previously made in 2D (which I realized contained a mistake). This took days to make and I almost gave up 5 times. Who knew this could be so difficult? I made it as accurate and user friendly as possible. I might later implement more accurate diminishing of the light’s intensity when I have time.

Position of the primary secondary and tertiary colours in the Oklab colour space

I made a 3D graph of the Oklab colour space to find the angle and lightness at which each primary, secondary and tertiary colour (using RGB) are the most colourful. I found out it’s very much not linear all. Green being the most compact colour and cyan and yellow/orange the most spread out. Blue was the darkest and yellow the lightest… which is pretty predictable.
