Has this happened to any other goths? (Kicked out of mall because of goth makeup)
I was walking through the mall with my boyfriend (he’s not goth) and my mom, minding my own busines when I got stopped by a mall security guard. He said that my makeup “wasn’t allowed in the mall.” He then proceeded to follow us all throughout the mall, staring me down when we were trying to exit. I don’t see the issue with my makeup, I had even received several complements about it while in the mall. Since when was it ”not allowed” to express yourself?
