I accedentally started beefing with one of the biggest writers in my city
A couple of months ago, I was putting up my slaps one night and accidentally placed one right on top of one of this dude’s giant posters. He has them on trash cans all over the city, so I did not really think much of it at first. About a week later, I came back and saw that my slap had been covered by one of his stickers. Then, across the street, I noticed that one of my other stickers had been crossed out with paint. I went over and replaced that one with another sticker.
Now it has been months, and almost every day I find myself replacing stickers that he has painted over. I usually do not go over the ones he covers with another sticker, but when he paints over mine, I replace them. At this point, I know it is probably a losing battle because this dude is way bigger in my area and has more resources, experience, and reach than I do.
I also know what he looks like, and I have genuinely seen him painting over my stuff in broad daylight(TWICE). Now I am wondering what I should do next. If I see him again, should I apologize in person? The issue is that then he would know what I look like. Would it be better to DM him instead, or should I just leave it alone?

i saw in an interview he will supposedly start something. he is also like 50 and im much younger
