BMW M1

A futuristic redesign with mid-engine proportions, flowing curves, advanced lighting and sculpted aerodynamics—while preserving its iconic DNA. The original M1 was shaped by legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, whose vision gave the car its timeless wedge profile, disciplined lines, and unmistakable presence. This 2035 reinterpretation honors that pioneering design language while pushing it into a new era of performance and technology.

BMW M6 (E24) — A Childhood Memory, Restomodded

When I was a boy, one of my classmates was regularly picked up from school in a BMW 6 Series E24. Even then, I thought it was one of the most beautiful coupes BMW had ever built.

The strange thing was that his father's chauffeur drove it daily, quite an unusual fate for such a wonderful driver's car.

Decades later, I still consider the E24 one of BMW's finest designs. Here's my vision of an ultra-modern M6 restomod, retaining its unmistakable shark-nosed character while giving it a thoroughly contemporary treatment.

Patek Monarque: What If Patek Philippe Made a Car?

An analogue Patek in a digital world.

I imagined a grand saloon shaped by a watchmaker’s attention to proportion, materials and the smallest functional detail. Sweeping Art Deco bodywork, midnight-blue paint and a brushed-steel roof give it the presence to command a motorcade.

But its greatest beauty would be inside.

The watchmaking influence would live in the instrumentation: how speed, distance and the car’s condition are conveyed through physical hands, carefully composed dials and tactile controls. Every mechanism would have a purpose. Every surface, edge and movement would deserve close attention.

Parchment leather, muted taupe and rich, dark brown wood take their cues from Patek Philippe’s boutiques. Polished metal provides delicate highlights, allowing the craftsmanship to reveal itself gradually.

Seeing a rare Monarque pass by should evoke the same feeling as glimpsing an exceptional Patek beneath a shirt cuff. A brief reveal of something exquisitely beautiful, disappearing before you have quite taken it all in. You find yourself hoping for another glimpse.

Patek Monarque. An independent AI concept inspired by Patek Philippe.

EV exotic?

Exotic looks, a tactile cockpit and room for a weekend away, without breaking the bank.

This AI-developed concept explores a more attainable electric sports car. We’ve tried to design around the MG Cyberster’s underpinnings, giving the ambition a realistic starting point.

Would this tempt you to go electric?

Proton Satria GTi 2027: Same Spirit, New Generation

The Satria GTi was an icon for a generation. Nearly 30 years later, what if Proton brought it back as a larger, all-electric performance hot hatch for 2027?

Many original GTi enthusiasts now have grown-up kids, even grandkids. They may not buy one themselves, but there'd be something nostalgic about seeing the next generation driving a Satria GTi.

Daewoo Bucrane 2030

The original crane-wing doors were deemed impractical by the engineers, so Lambo doors were requested instead. The engineers still grumbled, but by then they were too exasperated to argue.

All I want

I don’t want a 1,000 hp boxer engine. I don’t want wings that belong on an aeroplane. I don’t want carbon-fibre seats or an engine announcing my arrival to the entire neighbourhood.

I don’t want a heavy engine hanging out the back, followed by an entire nation’s engineering talent trying to overcome the physics of putting it there.

I want a quiet EV with balanced handling that gets me through my daily commute comfortably and efficiently. Something beautiful enough that I’ll glance back at it before heading for my morning train.

So I used AI to work through how I wanted it to look. Compact, classic proportions, Ora Good Cat headlights and those two elongated humps on the bonnet were central to the brief. A simple red-and-black interior, proper physical controls, and luggage space at both ends.

Please, somebody in China, build this. You can take my money.
