Is this normal or do I need to find another job
In May, I accepted a job as a leasing consultant at this property management company. At first, I was excited since It’s been a while that I had a job and had no luck in the job market. Then, overtime, my excitement quickly diminished when my managers kept piling work on me. To answering angry phone calls from residents they refused to talked to, to going over accounts who got double charge for parking and making list, maintenance works such as replacing doorknobs, reprogramming doors, working on doors to make sure they work. Then, making keys for every residents, making sure each packet is stuffed with all the materials. They won’t even answer the phones to people who need answer from them, inform me to get them to email them which caused more tension over the phone. I feel like I’m doing more than what is required especially since it’s turned season and when things get tough, they can shut the door and keep it close when I have to keep mines open. I’m the only leasing consultant in the office no one else, we did have a part timer but she put in her two weeks notice.
