Terrible fulfillment policy
Oura ring has a terrible fulfillment policy with Best Buy. When you place an online order through oura ring’s website and select pick up in store, if there’s stock, it will show available to be picked up within 2 hours. However, if the stock in the particular Best Buy store is below 3, you won’t be able to pick it up because they want to reserve it for non market place orders so you’ll have to wait for BB to get a new shipment from Oura.
Basically, capitalism at its best, walk-in customers are prioritized so Oura and BB can make the sale vs prioritizing paying customers that have already paid them. Now that you’ve paid, you are DE-prioritized.
EDIT: You might wonder why I don’t just get it from BB. I received an Oura gift card that can only be used on Oura website.
