Should I exchange my new laptop?

Should I exchange my new laptop?

I'll probably get torched in the comments for this, but I need some peace of mind.

I bought a laptop from Costco a few weeks ago for $1400 when it was on sale. They have a very generous exchange policy.

Overall, I'm very happy with it.

I don't know how I even noticed this, but there's a small piece on the bottom of either side of the screen that seems like it's jus there to cover the small space next to the hinge that the main bezel can't reach. On the right side of the laptop, it's a little loose and will wiggle when pushed. The other side doesn't move at all. I assume this piece just snaps into place, but I tried pushing it in on the loose side and I can't get it to snap in.

My question is, is this enough of a reason to exchange the laptop. I'm pretty sure that this is strictly cosmetic and is not noticeable in any meaningful way unless I push it. The thing that gets me nervous is it's right next to the hinge so I'm worried there could be something to cause it to fail earlier than it should that's preventing it from snapping into place properly.

Here are some videos showing what I'm talking about

Is this Omnibook X Flip at Best Buy for $1099 a good value or should I wait for potential Black Friday deals or other sales?

Specs:

* **Processor:** AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 * **Memory:** 32GB LPDDR5x RAM * **Storage:** 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD * **Display:** 16-inch 2K OLED Touchscreen

I'm looking to get a new laptop but not in any particular rush. I also know in today's market there's no guarantee prices won't go up, so I'm not sure if waiting even a couple months until Black Friday is even worth it.

I'm looking to see if folks think this is a good deal for this laptop based on the specs and overall value. I haven't seen too many laptops with this level processor and 32gb of RAM at this price point. I'm not thrilled with the 2K 60Hz screen or 512gb SSD, but I know I have to make some concessions if I don't want to pay flagship prices. The SSD is very easily upgradable at least.

For context my current laptop was a flagship model from 2020. It is a HP Spectre x360 16" 16gb ram, 1TB SSD, 4K OLED. It's on it's last legs though. I had to take the battery out because it swelled up. I was thinking initially to just replace the battery, but performance hasn't been great lately either so I figured I'd upgrade.

Does anyone know more about the Stan Smith ID1369?

AI was useless, and I can't find much about them searching online. I saw some listings for them on eBay and I'm trying to figure out if they're better or worse than regular Stan Smith's. The key difference is they have the Adidas logo on the side.
