Getting ROG at freaking 1.15 lac! any better deals??

Some things need to be said without mincing one's words.

Lenovo had the Indian laptop market served to them on a platter. Some of us had been recommending them left, right and center on Reddit and I'm sure they made tens of crores worth of sales from recommendations made on this sub alone!

They used to have fantastic sales back in the day. We had the 10% MEGADROP coupons that could be combined with 2 other coupons and this was the primary reason for Lenovo to be the favorite brand on Indian laptop related subreddits.

Then started the price hike madness. It was understandable until a certain point but not anymore.

When July price hikes were announced in China, prices stayed stable there but we saw an immediate increase here amidst a sale. The sale itself was a dud with no additional coupon discounts like "spin-the-wheel" and so on. When global price hikes were announced, we saw another hike. And now, another!!!

Once touted as the most value for money premium mid-range gaming laptop, the Legion Pro 5 5070Ti base spec is now at ₹3.12L which just DOES NOT make any sense when you have the Omen Max 5070 Ti and Strix G16 5070 Ti going for 50-70k lesser!

Yes, the Pro 5 has an OLED display but that is not enough of a reason for an almost 100k price hike. We have two Legion Pro 5s(U9/5070Ti and 9955HX/5060) in our circles and it's a fantastic laptop. But unless prices become rational again, don't blindly fall for the hype.

As for aftersales service, it is totally dependent upon your local franchise. Brands don't have COCO service centers in India - they're all franchised out to third parties, so don't fall for the influencer propaganda.

Hullo amigos, need your esteemed wisdom to help me buy a laptop T-T
Here is what I am thinking

• I need this device for coding and gaming. Preferred GPU 5060, can accept 5050 if the tradeoff is worth it.
• I am willing to stretch to 1,40,000 INR, on EMI i.e.
• My previous laptop experience was a shit show, it started having keyboard and trackpad glitches and really left a bad taste behind.
• I expect this laptop to atleast last me 3 years.

I have narrowed down my research to the following laptops.

• HP Omen | B0GXBP9WQL | ₹140,990 - For this, I am worried about the processor. I am afraid if the HX processor will fry the laptop and reduce the optimal lifesapan of this device. Other reservation would be the price point, compared to the other two, I am paying more, I also intend to buy other accessories eventually like keyboard, mouse, monitor, cooling pad. Now I am thinking if the edge that I am getting in performance is worth the financial strain I will have to shoulder in future.
•  HP HyperX OMEN 15 | B0GSZW682H | ₹119,990 - This one trades display and price for processor and GPU. If HX processors really pose a hazard, then this device actually makes sense. I get a laptop with a good screen which is plus for portability even if I buy a monitor. I am trying to weigh if the processor and GPU downgrade actually makes sense, if it will actually show a visible decline in experience. Otherwise this laptop is a strong contender for me now atm.
• HP Smartchoice Victus 15 | B0FDKPZHB7 | ₹92,990 - This laptop is the cheapest amongst the three - bada bing bada boom, no two way about it. To me this laptop is the lowest I can go and I need someone to tell me if this compromise makes sense. I can freely invest in other accessories if I get this one. But for what? If the decline in experience is too much then I would actually rather spend some more money and get a better performant device. But I can't seem to make the comparison.

What do you think, which one makes sense? Am I missing out on any other device? Feel free to recommend other devices if they are better than what I comparing for now. Also any other tip is much appreciated.

Recently, i was checking the lenovo thinkbook 16 on Flipkart and i am getting it at 48,000 but i am not sure if it is a used laptop or some problematic product because it's recent price on different platforms is around 68k to 75k.
