Hi all! Thanks to a happy accident I have a small Amazon Gift Card! (Was supposed to get prime video credits, but then they didn’t get attached to my account. Tried to use them to get the movie my kids wanted on Prime Video only to find out you can’t use amazon gift cards in prime video! So silly!

Anywho, we have lots of pets. My husband and I cannot agree on a middle name for our 4 year old pup. Her first name is Mika (Mee-kah) and our last name is somewhat similar to Gilligan. Being the Italian that I am I like to use full names to scold when necessary. We can’t pin down a middle name for her though. My husband keeps using “Elizabeth” but it is just has too classic a vibe for our family. SO I figured you all could help!

Please suggest a middle name for our dog. Has to have a good flow, and sound good with her other names (first & last)

Hi All!

It has been a while since I’ve had time to be active on here. Even before that my intro is now almost 6 years old, and I’ve dipped in and out of activeness since then with lots of new faces around I figured I would make a re-intro.

I’m be_braver! I am a mom of 3 wonderful children. A preschool teacher, a lover of plants, animals and the earth. Before children I was a minimalist and my husband and I lived an environmentally low impact lifestyle. Then Covid it, and it became super difficult to find things low impact, then we became parents and we’re finally getting our heads back on as our youngest is about to leave the infant world behind!

We have a dog, a cat, 5 hermit crabs, and a tank of fish. I have 13 house plants with their own names, and a yard that needs a lot of work! I nerd out over DIY house projects. I love yard work and gardening. I enjoy needle felting, and bullet journaling but I don’t have much time for those anymore. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I taught Kindergarten for 8 years and then we moved states and I now teach an inclusion preschool class of 3-5 year olds. I just finished reading the book “Children of Blood and Bone” in preparation to see the movie. I love Disney and play Disney Dreamlight Valley. I also have dysgraphia and will for sure spell many things wrong.

So I think that about sums it up! For my old friends hello again! How are you doing? What have you been up to? For the new-to-me faces, what’s one hobby that you could talk about forever?

I know 47/50 it’s a flapper, and the other times it’s usually a different valve. But I have a curious problem. We have a dumb amount of bathrooms (4) and one had a ghost flush so we turned the toilet water line off until we could deal with it. Literally days later another toilet developed a phantom flush. They are both the toilets we did not replace when we moved in and the toilets are 10 years old now. So totally could be fluke timing

BUT we replaced the tank entirely to one of the toilets that has a phantom flush after the old tank started leaking. This includes all new flush system that came with the new tank directly from the factory.

Our foundation is wonky and we are getting support beams put in at the end of July. Is there any other reason for a phantom flush like slant floors or poor installation the first time they were installed 10 years ago?
