Just got the E10 online today! Storm Prep starts now.
We finally got (almost) everything installed today in our basement, our E10 system with 3 batteries and the Smart Inlet Panel is now operational! Also got the Smart Generator, which we have yet to setup, and 2 sets of the portable solar panels, still trying to figure out the best spot to put them.
Super excited to see how this setup helps us for future storm prep and saving on electricity costs. Our future plan will probably include a 4th battery and some fixed solar panels to offset the daily usage drain. My better half is thinking that we might need the Power Dock as our main panel is quite full and that would be beneficial in more ways than one. I anticipate that we will put a Natural gas connection to the smart generator for a fuel source.
We switched to a Time of Use plan from our electric provider just recently and bought a used EV, so we are just getting started in being smart about our power usage.
