My bluegill haul
I'm still a newbie and I want to catch bigger fish in the future ( i.e catfish ). Michigan btw

Starting to get better at catching bluegill and panfish.
Any other tips to catch bigger bluegills or panfish I'd appreciate the tips and advice. I do dock and shore fishing for context but would like to get a kayak to fish in the water.

Chicken liver soaking in Kool aid powder
I want to go cat fishing and I rember my uncle saying catfish love chicken liver and an older man told me soaking liver or hot dogs in Kool aid really gets them biting. ( said cherry or orange Kool aid works great)

I wanted some advice on if this is a good idea. Did set up a 20lb wire leader with a octopus hook 1/0. Just gonna use some heavy split shots

Is this a good set up for panfishing?
I do have a bobber on. Going to use night crawlers as bait and the rod is a light rod with a 2-6 lb braided line.
