Who do you think “the big twist” guest is gonna be?

They are really hamming up some “big moment”. So far tonight’s PPV episode feels like another standard arena episode. But Tony hinted that a third “special guest” is joining the panel later. Who do you think it’s gonna be?

Why do you think the theme of Tyler’s set this year will be?

Last year’s main theme was Don’t Tap The Glass and I don’t expect him to do a show centered around that record 2 years in a row.

2023 gave him a chance to do a CMIYGL themed one since covid prevented large gatherings and the fest from happening between 2020-2022.

And 2024 was obv Chromakopia. So that doesn’t leave a clear theme for this years set.

What do you think this years theme/stage design and direction will be?

(I’m naively wishing for a culmination of all his eras but I know in past interviews he said he’d never do that so idk what to expect).

I need advice from CFG Veterans (GA + mainly going for Tyler)

This will be my first CFG and my first time ever going to a festival. And I’m really really nervous…

I have been a HUGE Tyler fan for a little over a decade now. I have listened to his music religiously for years, but until very recently, I have not been able to afford to see him live. I was barely making enough to pay my bills and eat when the Chromakopia tour happened.

Now I finally have some "adulting” money and I managed to get CFG tickets through the waitlist. So I’ll be going with my friend (who’s also a first timer to all of this) and I am genuinely excited because this will be my first time ever seeing Tyler live.

That said, I have two concerns:

  1. I only have General Admission. Since I got my ticket through the waitlist, VIP wasn't an option. I've heard alot of people say GA can be rough, especially if you're trying to get a good view of the stage. I want to explore the fest, get merch, see some of the other stages, and still get a good view of Tyler’s set from GA. But I feel like with GA that’s too much of a big ask, and I’m trying to cram too much into one day. Realistically, what should my plan be for the fest?

  2. I know of some of the other artists that usually play CFG, but I am definitely not someone who is very well versed when it comes to everyone's discographies. Looking at last year's lineup out side of a few artist, but most of the lineup would've been new to me. And I honestly don’t know if most of it is for me. I’d feel horrible going and wasting a spot someone else can take if I am overall not likely to not enjoy the experience.

Am I cooked? Is Camp Flog Gnaw still worth it if Tyler is someone’s main reason for going, especially with a GA ticket? Or do you think I am overthinking this and I’ll end up discovering a bunch of artists and having an amazing time anyway?

I'd love to hear from people who've been to this fest or other fest before. And thanks for being understanding I’m just really nervous since it’s my first time ever at a festival. Any advice at all would mean the world!

I finally got my tix from the waitlist!!! What should my next steps be?

Hey everyone!

I finally got off the waitlist and was able to grab two tickets! My card got charged, and my confirmation email from AXS says "Domestic Shipping Waitlist" with my name and address listed.

I had a few questions:

- Should I expect the wristbands to be shipped directly to my address?

- About how long before the festival do wristbands usually get mailed out?

- What's the cheapest way to get from Oklahoma to Los Angeles for Camp Flog Gnaw? Do most people fly, or are there any good budget travel tips?

- What's the cheapest way to find a hotel? I remember hearing there was a hotel package, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Is it still available, or should I just book something on my own?

This is my first music festival ever, so I'm both nervous and excited. I've never done anything like this before, so I'd really appreciate any advice, tips, or things you wish you knew before your first CFG.

Thanks so much!

I’m currently on the waitlist and still waiting to be charged. I wanna go with my brother. Should I order another waitlist spot now before the lineup comes out?

I already got a $20 holding spot for my ticket but after buying it i realized that I don’t wanna be in California for a whole weekend by myself so I asked my brother if he wants to join. I’m contemplating getting another $20 holding spot but I feel like there is already a good chance I’m gonna get charged $400 a month from now and then there is a good chance he may not get a ticket. I don’t know haha, any advice would help!

Is it worth it to join the waitlist or am I just cooked?

I have wanted to see Tyler for the longest time but I was always broke. Now I finally have the adulting money to go see him, but tickets for Flog Gnaw are sold out. Should I join the waitlist or just count my losses and wait until next year?

Is an Arturia MicroBrute for $180 good first keyboard for Keybass?

I found an Arturia MicroBrute on FB Marketplace for $180 + local pick up. Would it be a good first keybass for learning or should I invest in something better?

I'm mainly wanting something for keybass on gigs and sine leads for production.

Any advice at all would help greatly!

Suggestions for a good affordable keyboard? (For a session bassist/guitarist)

I need a keyboard with decent pad/soundscape settings and lead synth settings for my live arrangement production (and some rnb production)

As well as a live monophonic keybass stuff.

I need a one stop shop keyboard that I (as a bassist/ guitarist) can use for production and for keybass on live shows. Any suggestions at all help greatly!!!
