[0723-6010] I guess I'm wearing clothes to match my watches now
Didn't plan to match the colours but suddenly realized that's what happened.

Didn't plan to match the colours but suddenly realized that's what happened.
Sometimes I tend to wear one watch for weeks at a time but last week a different one spoke to me every day. Here they are in reverse order!
Most of my collection of working Seiko watches in one shot.
Apart from these there are a few more in working order and quite a few awaiting restoration.

I fell in love with the Seiko Elnix lineup and this particular case reference strikes a perfect chord with me. I got all of them as junk and got up and running again. I'm not sure if I'd be able to pick a favourite!
I think these are all the colours that came with this case.
Back to life and another one for the collection! It's keeping excellent time. I love the Elnix.
At the end of last year intrusive thoughts won and I needed an old clock in my life. My grandparents still have a 1930s Kienzle wall clock which I remember striking each hour when I was a kid (it needs servicing now).
I came across a similarly styled Seikosha wall clock, which I believe is from the 1930s.
I found a fragment of 1933 Seikosha catalog somewhere on the Internet with a similar model - No. 110 in one of the images.
This one was listed as No. 10.
It keeps good time and strikes beautifully!
I love it.
This is the first chronograph that I've serviced. It was flooded with oil and a non runner but nothing was damaged thankfully.
The seconds hand lands 1 second past 12 on reset but, but I don't want to mess with it more for now. I'm happy to have it together and working.
Now I have a real appetite for more chronographs, perhaps something with a minute register since this one only measures the seconds!
Last photo is the "before" state.
Notice how the 6 o'clock dial code print is still on top of the damage. The dial was white originally. I love the way it looks and I think it has aged in an interesting way.
