I want to surprise my Brazilian bf by showing him I’ve learnt Portuguese in secret. But I’m confused whether i should tell him eu amo voce which is the Brazilian pronoun but i haven’t seen this expression much before. Ive heard eu te amo a lot but idk if someone from Brazil would use it normally since it’s used in Portugal
Also he sometimes uses tu in his text messages when he talks to me so it adds to my confusion

So which one should I use when I tell him ?

Ps : he is from Rio de Janeiro
