"Yotsuba&!" will be officially published in Brazil

The publisher Panini announced today, during its press conference on future releases at "AnimeFriends" 2026 in São Paulo, the official launch of the manga "Yotsuba&!", written by Kiyohiko Azuma. This will be the first time the manga has been published in Brazil, making it a previously unreleased title.

Previously, "Azumanga Daioh!" - one of Kiyohiko Azuma's most famous titles - was published in Brazil, but by a different publisher.

This news came as a surprise to us, and we are happy to know that Azuma-sensei's work is being well-regarded here. We look forward to seeing the publication! 🇧🇷😄👏🏻

Sometimes, nobody can stop the word-of-mouth from many people who don't watch "Rent-a-Girlfriend" and spread hate and fake news about things that only exist in their imagination, completely ignoring the veracity of what the author was saying in the interview. It's as if they don't trust his credibility, and worse: they insult, threaten, mock, I even saw some wishing for his death...

It's sad how the anime community here in the West tends to be so toxic no matter which series they consume. It was like that with Naruto; it was like that with One Piece; it was like that with My Hero Academia. Today the internet awakens the worst of human behavior, and the tendency is only to get worse and worse.

What do we, as a community, have to do to avoid excessive hate like this?
